An unclear light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is wheaty with notes of lemon, while the flavor is sweet wheaty with notes of lemon and coriander. I don’t pick up the salt.

Sampled draught at Gasthaus & Gosebrauerei Bayerischer Bahnhof, Leipzig.
Pale orange and cloudy with creamy head. Strong coriander aroma. Fruity and salty, rounded and strikingly similar to a salty wit. odd in that it is both thirst quenching, and then the salt makes you thirsty again...

I had this when it first came out and was really underwhelmed. Having had the opportunity to revisit the issue, I have definitely changed my tune. I got a milky pour, yellow and cloudy. The aroma was very yeasty - foot and cheese - but also spicy, fruity (pear, banana, peach) and wheaty. This carried through the palate. I was impressed with how well balanced it was, and how fresh. The salt actually seemed to bring a certain roundness to it the same way it brings a bowl of soup together. Fun beer.
