| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2008 12oz. bottle. Very clear light gold in color, with no head to speak of. Aroma is fairly promising with a strong grassy presentation. Mouth feel is a little on the thin side, but the flavor is distinctly European. This is a compact, drinkable, sessionable brew that doesn’t try anything fancy. mbgrayson (148), Anaconda, Montana, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, Oregon. Pours a semi-clear caramel amber brew with a very fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a bubbly ring with a thin film on top of brew. Aroma of light bread dough, some roasted caramel malt, flowery hops, aand some grits. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with a good balance of malty caramel grain and citrus bitter flavor. Finish is slightly metalic, and then a semi-sweet malty flavor with some slight bitterness after the finish. bhensonb (4342), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Aroma of grassy hop and medium malt. Light amber color, with a white head that quickly departed. Starts lightly sweet, develops medium mouthfeel as the carbonation leaves, gets a bit sweeter, then finally develops a little hop in the finish. Sort of a maltier version of Bayern Pilsener

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 25, 2007 Slightly oxidized taste, bready and toasty, stronger on the malts, a departure from the NW ambers. Very smooth in the body, but the oxidized flavor makes it feel thin on the palate. Pours dark copper with a soft beige head.
