Caramel and paper nose, slight pear in background, grass. Taste is a bit bland, but decently balanced. Reminds me somehow of watered down Sam Adams. Not much body, but a refreshing option available at many local bars. wulfhere (217), Billings, Montana, USA

Light brownish amber color--crystal clear.
Mild malt nose followed by a bit of fresh hop bitterness.
The beer is a nice balance between op and malt with a smooth, slightly bitter finish. There's a subtle maltiness to the taste, and a thin mouthfeel. The head is fine white bubbles, but fades quickly to cling to the sides of the glass. One of my favorite beers. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA

I may be way off base but for an German beer this has a very English aroma( I am reminded of the Hopback beers). A musty hop bite in the taste, mild caramel malts. A good sessiion beer.
