Slightly hazy orange-amber. Light head. Fruit malt aroma. Fruity malt aroma with vanilla-like finish. These ambers demand food to be washed down.

Sparkling amber body topped by small white head. Aroma is lemon, grassy, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some grassy, lemon. The bitter grassy aftertaste is pleasant. Medium body. Nice beer.

Amber color with sticky almost no head. The aroma is lightly caramelly and light. The flavor is quenching and thorough with a rounded finish. Lagerish and mild, not bad.

Amber pour, no head and not much lace. Small hops and wet malt nose. Malty, slightly caramel and almost a hint of roasted malts. Wet palate and a smallish hop finish. Average.

(11/03) Pours a clean, darkish amber color; not much head but lingering. Caramel and paper nose, slight pear in background, grass. Taste is a bit bland, but decently balanced. Reminds me somehow of watered down Sam Adams. Not much body, but a refreshing option available at many local bars.

Tap. Light brownish amber color--crystal clear. Mild malt nose followed by a bit of fresh hop bitterness. The beer is a nice balance between op and malt with a smooth, slightly bitter finish. There's a subtle maltiness to the taste, and a thin mouthfeel. The head is fine white bubbles, but fades quickly to cling to the sides of the glass. One of my favorite beers.

Clear amber with a small white head. I may be way off base but for an German beer this has a very English aroma( I am reminded of the Hopback beers). A musty hop bite in the taste, mild caramel malts. A good sessiion beer.
