Bottle. Poured cloudy dark brown with medium white head. Grassy and farmy aroma. Light flavour, with some bready notes and a bit of whole wheat toast. Corners of the tongue finish, light on hop.

On tap at the 2009 NABA. Pours a very dark brown color with a medium white head. The aroma is lots of rich fruity malts and toast. The flavor was easygoing and nice; lots of rich toasted malts, light fruit, some light hops. Very nice.

Brown with a very thin white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, toffee, bit of nuttiness. Taste is a light caramel, light roastiness- mildly watery but nice on a hot day.

12 oz bottle from Belmont Station. Nose is of grain, toastiness, and a light touch of buttery caramel. Hazy dark brown with a medium beige head. Flavor is light roastiness, caramel, and a bit of background bitterness that increases slightly as it finishes.

Got a six pack of the newly bottled Dragon’s breath in Missoula. Pours dark. Very rich and smooth, with a little of the Hefe taste. Thumbs up.

On draught at the Bayern brewery’s tap room in Missoula, Montana. Pours a hazy medium-dark brown brew with a creamy thin beige head that dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of toasted multi-grain malt, some grassy hops, and a touch of yeast. Taste is smooth, creamy with more roasted malt character than bitterness. Finish is soft, creamy, slightly fruity with a decent roasted malt aftertaste.
