Draught at the Brewpub: Muddy brown color, tan head and light lacing. Nose of light fruity metallic soapy malts and hops. The flavor is sweet, lightly sour with a chewy body and light wheat notes. Decent.

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours caramel amber with a 5-finger beige head. Aroma is simply dark roast wheat. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Flavor is dark roast wheat/malt with fruit. Not getting banana. It’s smooth and flavorful. Finishes malty, but not excessively sweet. Mild spice hints.

On draught at the Bayern brewery’s tap room in Missoula, Montana. Pours a hazy medium-dark brown brew with a creamy thin beige head that dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of toasted multi-grain malt, some grassy hops, and a touch of yeast. Taste is smooth, creamy with more roasted malt character than bitterness. Finish is soft, creamy, slightly fruity with a decent roasted malt aftertaste.

Aroma: Wheat malt aroma with a light hops backing.
Appearance: Light Brown in color, hazy with a light head.
Flavor: Roasty malt flavor with some hops coming through.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: I wish this had more spice and some added flavor.

Brown with a very thin white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, toffee, bit of nuttiness. Taste is a light caramel, light roastiness- mildly watery but nice on a hot day.

Tap at Bayern: A brown cloudy, swirling sea of particles. Thin beige head. Aroma is mild, just a faint maltiness. Tastes wheaty and crisp enough with some florals and a little yeast. Rather mild, but more florals than some wheat ales.
