Mar 30, 2009 12oz bottle thanks to riversideAK. Pours amber with minimal white head that dissipates quickly. Lively carbonation. Aroma is of malt, pine, cheap scotch, grain, and hops. Taste is of sweet hops, pine and notes of cheap scotch. Has a nice biscuity malt backbone. Starts off very bitter due to all the earthiness, but you warm up to it after a few sips. Just a drinkable beer with enough flavor to keep you interested, but nothing more.

Mar 29, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a really nice clear reddish copper with a small beige head. Aroma is really grainy, some sweet malt, and lager yeast. Flavor matches pretty well with a lingering sweetness on the finish. Nothing special, but not too bad either.

Mar 5, 2009 Aroma is very toasty with a touch of sweet caramel malts. Some crisp hoppy bitterness too. Pours reddish/copper with a thin head. The flavor is very toasty with a touch of sweetness and a super crisp hop bitterness in the finish. I really like the clean crisp bitterness in the finish. Lagers are under rated. It is not barrel aged with lacto and brett, so it cant be any good I guess...

smell of caramel, nuts, roasted malt.
taste is watery, caramel, nalt, nuts, roastiness, a little sweet, light carbonation.
overall really not much to it, kinda flat.

Aug 18, 2008 This has a bit of a sweet aroma, some faint toasted caramel maltiness, a bit of citrus hoppiness. Definitely on the maltier side, with a bit of honey sweetness that lingers through into the finish. Not bad, but not great, but easy to drink.

Aug 18, 2008 Bottle from John’s Market Place in Portland, OR--Poured a thin amber body with a thick off-white head. Sweet, malty crisp nose with some biscuity character. Nothing special, but very quaffable and easy going.
