Smooth taste with a slightly harsh aftertaste. This beer was pretty good. I had it with pretzels and it gave me a hellacious case of the hiccups. wulfhere (217), Billings, Montana, USA

honey golden, good sized head of very fine bubbles with decent lacing overall.
Nose is yeasty, malty wih the fresh aroma of noble hops springing out of the glass!
The flavor is balanced, with some bread like flavor and a hint of banana, offset with just the right hop bitterness. Finish is clean, mid-dry and a slightly bitter edge on the tail end.
Jurgen Knoller (the brewer) brags uo this beer something fierce on his site, and although this isn’t the best Pilsner on "either side of the Atlantic," it IS pretty damn good. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 13, 2004 Cloudy haze and a few yeast particles. Very thiin head on orange-yellow liquid. Yeast and a light mellon aroma. Zesty hop flavour and yeast, a different type of pilsener. Fruity finish. In a blind taste I might think this was an American Wheat. Refreshing and zesty. kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 20, 2004 Not a lot of aroma, looks like a pilsner, not a hugh head either. Sweet malt up front with just a hint of hop to it. Nice clean finish. willblake (2178), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 12, 2004 Looks like Bud, really. Similar color, and carbonation. That's not so bad, I didn't say it tasted like bud. Smells like lots of malt, reminds me of sweet dough, and resin. I'll be damned if i can find "plenty of hops," although it is a touch bitter. More tangy, like bad lunchmeat. Still, very cold bad ham can be refreshing on a hot day. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
