Olives, oil, pea soup feature strongly in the not wholly unappealing aroma. Opaque brown coloured body with shy tan head that recedes to thin ring. Acetic sourness, strong roastiness and plenty of pea soup/olive flavoured DMS. Fairly light body is somewhat oily in the mouth. No chocolate flavour to be found. Bottle sampled with beerbuzzmontreal, lubiere and MartinT.

The Lure:
Olive oil, raisins and even a few pickled olives. Somehow not awful at this point, but horribly puzzling.

The Festivities:
Fruity acidity within the dry malt roastiness. Raisins and...those wandering olives again.

Transcendence:
Yep, I checked the label. It’s not a vinaigrette.

Bottle. This tasted like balsamic vinagrette dressing. What’s worse is I also have the three Treads which it turns out is the same as this stuff only there is MORE of it. Great.

(Draft) Dark red brown with a thin cream colored head. Malty and roasted aroma. Thin sourish coffee roasted bitter espresso with a clean coffee finish. Should be called Coffee porter.

The aroma is really just way below average, very light chocolate, and that’s about it. Very thin head, paper thin. Very very watery, light malt, no noticable chocolate, it almost seems like the beer was watered down on purpose. Worth a rating, but a waste of $2.99

Bottled Black with beige head. Acidic aroma with vinegar tones. Malty with a hint of chocolate. Acidic dry flavor. Dusty with a dry finish. It has no chocolate, actiually no porter eitehr cause it stinks. I brew better porter than this in my kettle.

Bottled, thanks marbles! Dark brown, airy head. Lactic acid up front. Thin, sour and not much else. Highly problematic.

Pasty and chalky flavor. Dark brown witrh a fluffy white head. Butter, milk in the flavor and nose... not bad, but not exactly something I would buy often.
