Bottle from Hi-Time wine. Poured a dark brown color with a hint of chocolate in the aroma. This beer fell apart at first sip. Strange sour flavor, almost like it was infected. No wonder it is almsot the lowest ranked porter. Blahhh

This was a tart little beer with a great color and aroma butt he beer comes off with some off flavors. Very tart with a little chocolate in the background. I felt this beer was just not up to par. Needed a better malt build and maybe less infection.

22oz bottle. On sale at Holiday Wines. Pours dark brown with a thin, fizzy, tan head that leaves specks of lace. Smells sour and of some dark roasted malts. Tastes of slightly sweet, roasted malts, slightly sour, slight dark chocolate flavor. Not very good. Medium, watery body with fizzy carbonation.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured dark brown with moderate tan head and some lacing. Nose is of roasted malts and some chocolate but there are some additional odd odors in there. Mouthfeel is light for a porter. Flavor is simply odd and not very nice.Regretfully this was too bad to finish. It is not often I pour beer out but I could not drink this stuff.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKiney, TX. Pours a dark brown with ruby hues. Aroma of some chocolate and dark roast, and vinegar???? Flavor is somewhat a tangy bitter, too much sour tang, faint chocolate at the end with slight dark roast. Mouthfeel is light-med. with med-high carbonation...Overall, something is wrong with this....not enjoyable....The worst porter I have had..

Getting my notebook online. Bottle. Pours dark brown. Aromas off, almost vinegarish. Taste not a whole lot better. Very muddled chocolate and malts. Not good.
