Proof that not all things chocolate are desirable. This poured dark brown with an ample foamy beige head. Subtle nuances of chocolate in the aroma with roasted malt and a note of coffee. Flavor was stale coffee and roasted malt but nary a note of chocolate. Some citrus in the finish that was off putting.

brown color with a small khaki head. Faint smell of roasted malts and cocoa. Rich hearty taste of dark roasted malts and cocoa. Has a mildly bitter hop/alcohol bite to finish.71006

deep chestnut brown, thin tan cap. Aroma of milk chocolate and berry fruit-- very sweet! Sweet on the palate as well, with the fruit taking over and finishing with a faint hop kiss. This was more like a sweet stout for me.

22oz bottle from BevMo. Pours a deep dark brown, almost black. Head was tan, thin and dissapearing. weak nose of coffee, caramel, and cocoa. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel.

650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Poured an opaque dark brown color with a tan head that faded to nothing in a few minutes. The aroma had an occasional whiff of milk chocolate but was dominated by something resembling the odor of a wet dog. The flavor was earthy with a bit of dirt in the forefront followed by chocolate rounding out the sides and a touch of smoky biter hops toward the back end. The mouthfeel was thin and watery to the point of distraction. The finish was short, way too short, there should have been more here; this finish left me very unsatisfied. Overall: A very interesting beer; and not in a good way. Not recommended.

dark brown color with a 2 finger tan head. chocolate, roasted malts and some dried fruits on the nose. strong taste of semi sweet cooking chocolate and a tiny aftertaste that reminds me of orange juice.

Bottle. Brown pour with a yellowed light tan head. Aroma was sour...bleh. Flavor was of vinegar...bleh. Medium body with a dry finish.

What a funky beer. It’s super dark and smells great, but tastes like juice. Enjoyable. In it’s own funky way.
