Amber orange color, moderate head, decent lacing and retention. Aroma is lightly grapefruity, grass, sweet pale malts. Medium to light body, moderate to low bitterness. Forgettable.

Yeah it’s bad. Cloudy orange brown color with some floating particles and a soapy like head. Nose is sour and soapy. Taste is citrus and grapefruit with a bitter finish and some pine notes left in the mouth. I poured the last half out.

Aroma: Caramel malts and citric hops. Leaves and pine cones are detectable. Smells like a well-rounded, eager-to-please ale. Appearance: Looks pretty good, a translucent orange-amber color just a touch darker than Johnny Walker Red Label. Lousy head, but otherwise an attractive brew. Flavor: Very woody and a little herbal. Good hop profile that blossoms in your mouth. Pronounced smack of Spanish peanuts and just a drop of coffee. I like it! Palate: A little flat; this could use some work, but it’s still good. Overall: Very flavorful, quite drinkable. Who’d have thought such an appealing brew could emerge from the vast blandness of Orange County? :)

Bomber. Foam crawled out of the bottle; rocky four finger head; medium gold color. Nice, not over the top, hoppy aroma like floral backed by citrus. Less than medium body with near creamy carbonation. Light citric sour over bread and maybe pine hop. Rather pleasant APA. Finish is fairly dry, but there’s a balancing touch of sweet hiding in the hop. Not strongly bitter, but good bitter.

Clear golden coloured body with a light copper hue. Light white head tops the beer gingerly and steady streams of fine bubbles rise from the botom constantly. Aroma of light citrus, good hops, pale malt and a light amount of sugars. Medium-bodied; Sharp hoppy flavour with a good malt backbone and a small amount of subtle citrus and pomme fruits throughout. Aftertaste shows a bit of the sweetness and some of the hops too. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in La Jolla, California on 03-December-2005.

Clear golden color with a 1" head, nice lacing. Cereal grain/pale malt aroma with herbal hops. Taste mirrors the smell with a lightly sweet bready malt flavor with mildly bitter herbal hops to finish. Very smooth and easy drinking.011206
