22 oz. bottle. Looks preety good: copper-gold body with a rocky APA head. Lightly fruity ale smell with slight hop backing. Not impressed by the taste, however. A light slap oh hops on a thin, almost watery body. A style like this needs some sticky malts to match the hop bill. This one is just kind of thin. Found this brand at Binny’s of Willowbrook.

Nice sessionable ale. It poured a hazy, tarnished bronze body with a tall fizzy head that performed some intricate lacing. The aroma’s mainly caramel and grain with a light citric tartness. The bitterness from the hops grows in the flavor, the grapefruit and zest of lemon balancing smoothly with the malty sweetness. Okay.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-brown body with a small white bubbly head. The aroma has dark caramel and very little hops. Sharp flavour, somewhat harsh, with dull wet cardboard notes. Noticeably bitter in the middle and into the finish.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with awaisanen (thanks!). Poured a deeper and slightly hazy golden color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of grain, citrus, and lightly floral. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and cereal. Thinner body.

Bottle shared with blankboy, mds, jerc & mabel - courtesy of blankboy. Hazy golden-orange colour. Aroma of stale grain and malt. Medium body. Flavour is pretty lifeless - a bit of caramel sweetness, some citrus in the finish, a bit astringent. Old bottle, perhaps?

Bottle (650ml) shared with GregClow, mds, jerc & mabel -- my bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a hazy dark orange with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grain, some fruit and hops. Flavour’s a bit watery and astringent with caramel malt, grain, some light resiny hops and a light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Drinkable but pretty mediocre.

Bottle. Seems maybe a bit past its prime, but does not show evidence of having had much to start with. Hazy golden amber body with a small off white head. Astringent, grainy aroma and flavour with light hoppy notes. Something familiar in both that I can not place. Dry, drawn out grains feel like they tried to extract too much from too little malt, but I am only speculating. Average palate. Not awful, but does not make me reach for more.

Golden and translucent with an earthy hop aroma. Flavor is pretty crisp, grassy, with floral and citrus notes, as well as some caramel malt. Pretty easy to drink. I could probably have a few of these while watching the game.
