Body is a golden light amber with a thin white head. Aroma is grapefruit, and orange zest, light hop notes, a bit floral too. Taste has a bit of a mettalic flavor, along with the smooth hop profile, does has some tartness to it in the end. Not sure if that was on purpose...

Yeasty, spicy nose that’s a bit catty; watery body with little malt character; perfumey and spicy hoppiness followed by an astringent twang; lingering, dusty finish; a little strange and not very appealing.

Lightly hazy yellow color. Carmel and bitter hops. Seemed a bit thin to me...although other called it thick. Not as hoppy as I was hoping.

In the bomber bottle from Cyclone Liquor in Ames. Caramel sweet hoppy aroma. Dark hazy gold with a medium thin white head of no acclaim. Malty flavor up front. The finish is a tingly biting tartness. But not so much as you’d think a California hop head would want. Has a thick syrupy malty palate. Rich and sweet, but not overdone. An odd juniper flavor emerges from the warmed beer at mid palate.

Pours yellowish amber color with nice thick white head. Aroma of malt and grapefruit. Flavor was mainly malt with a pretty good balance of hops. Hops come out more in finish. A lot thicker than i expected. Not bad but not amazing.

Bottle. Pours a nice cheddar yellow with a great head that levels off and lasts. Aroma is used malt and cereal. Flavor is more of the aroma with a bit of bread in the background, maybe in the form of pancakes. Mouthfeel is full and pleasant. Much better than the Chocolate crap they bottled.

Bottle (650ml). Slightly hazy amber-gold with a small head. Weak lemony-citrus hop aroma, mild sweet malt - pretty lame-smelling west coast pale. Taste is limp - dead resiny hops, weak cheap grainy malt, nasty aftertaste - weak body, harsh astringent mouthfeel, not recommended. Crap - I have another bottle.

Bottle. Amber beer with an off-wihte head. Light grainy aroma with slight citrus. Grainy flavor with some grassiness and citrus. Easy to drink. Slight lingering resin and grass.
