Wow, I can’t believe the low ratings this beer has gotten, as I was extremely impressed. Appearance: Hazy ornage with a gigantic head. Sweet floral and grapefruity scent... delicious. Taste is very sweet and finishes with a slight bitterness. Orange peel and pine are the two dominant flavors. Very nice!

When poured, this medium-bodied ale empties in the glass is a cloudy amber/orange color and a robust head. (This ale is bottle conditioned and should pour cloudy). This beer is fairly high in carbonates. This ale has an interesting nose: smelling of orange-rind/grapefruit pulp and pimentos. Finishes dry and crisp, and with a zesty hoppiness. This ale would perfectly compliment roasted poultry: chicken, duck or pheasant.

Pours yellowish amber color with nice thick white head. Aroma of malt and grapefruit. Flavor was mainly malt with a pretty good balance of hops. Hops come out more in finish. A lot thicker than i expected. Not bad but not amazing.

Clear golden color with a 1" head, nice lacing. Cereal grain/pale malt aroma with herbal hops. Taste mirrors the smell with a lightly sweet bready malt flavor with mildly bitter herbal hops to finish. Very smooth and easy drinking.011206

Pours a light-hazed, golden/amber, mostly dead, under a cream/fleshtone head... which is a little too large-bubbled to be called "creamy". Head settles slow with soft peaks that leave intermittent lacings. Mostly citrus in the nose, more orange in my nostrils than grapefruit, but there IS an underlying sourness. Rather fat-bodied, thick and creamy with some driness to finish. Flavor is more balanced than an IPA should show with a malted base providing subtle sweetness under lemon and orange. Good session ale. I like it.

Body is a golden light amber with a thin white head. Aroma is grapefruit, and orange zest, light hop notes, a bit floral too. Taste has a bit of a mettalic flavor, along with the smooth hop profile, does has some tartness to it in the end. Not sure if that was on purpose...

Nothin wrong with this one folks. Severe underrrating going on. Aroma is very clean, fruity and hoppy. Flavor is similar. Nothing wrong here! Maybe not groundbreaking, but 27%? come on, get over it. This is good stuff.

large 22oz bttle: pours copper orangey with thin white head that popped away. nose mostly of citrus grass and piney trees that grow only in the mt charleston region. fresh air or clean socks. either are nice. in your mouth those filliform delight with citrus pine and burrp hay or grass......freshness. quite one demensional in its efforts mostly dominated by cascade hop flavor. we’ve all had better but definately have had worse.
