I thought I was getting something called Blue Hawaii Hefeweizen and not Bayhawk, but I guess they are the same thing. It was a below average hefeweizen, some citrus and crisp mouthfeel. riversideAK (2779), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Mild wheat aroma. Orange with cloudy soapy white head. Not alot of flavor. I got some wheat, a little graininess, a little citrus. Pretty bland actually. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 29, 2007 Draft at Yardhouse, Hawaii, labeled as Blue Hawaiian Primo Hefeweizen. Clear pale yellow pour with a decent head. Not much on the aroma to make me think it was a hefe. Some wheat flavor and not much else. Average. alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 9, 2007 Brea Claim Jumper. Color was hazy yellow, don’t remember much head. Tasted much like a wit beer, and not a hefeweizen. Ok for that style, but nothing special. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

Sweet and fruity. Notes of lemon and some spices. Mild though. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 11, 2006 I hate the American "hefeweizens" that pour filtered clear and are nothing hefe at all (UFO). But, what is more disappointing is the American wheat that is labelled hefeweizen and pours unfiltered, but is a complete American imposter. Why not just call your beer a wheat beer, and we’ll all assume it is an American wheat before ordering or tasting. In any event... this one poured an ufiltered pale golden color (not a lot of depth to the color). The initial head was nice and there was great lacing. The aroma was all citrus and wheat-like, though. No bananas, no cloves. Flavor featured some hoppping, somewhat reminisicent of a poor man’s Widmer Hefe (although the Widmer was better and stronger). The mouthfeel was moderate and carbonated. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 9, 2006 Draught at the Claim Jumper in Rancho Bernardo, CA Hazy, no, cloudy yellow color. Hard to get the color because of the dim lighting around here. Just a candle at the table really to hold it to. The nose is faint with some lemon (that was on the edge of the glass) and a bit of husky wheat. Not really german at all, just a lightly bavarian interpretation of an american wheat, which I detest. Anyways, the flavor is dry and the finish is watery. Nothing to shake a stick at? I’d certainly shake one at this beer. gws57 (1144), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Had this one on draught as one of the house brews at "Claim Jumpers" in Lombard, Illinois. Pale, hazy orangeish pour with a thick head, served with a lemon. VERY heavy citrus taste, and a bit light on the breadiness I like from other wheat beers, but other than that, this one wasn’t too bad, although it was my least favorite of the three I tried.
