Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. Attractive clear amber colour. Thin white head. Good lively condition. Slightly grainy aroma. Tangy hop come through stronger on the palate. Some resinous notes. Firm, fresh mouthfeel with decent bite. A quite accomplished session bitter from a new brewery.

Cask@St Albans. Pretty boring bitter. Not much happening. Grainy, malty mouthfeel at the start, quite cereally, and raw, with some metallic notes.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. Beautifuuly clear amber/gold, thin beige. Decent hoppy aroma, bit of farty yeast. It’s a bitter, quite interesting. Down as Bays Bitter but the ABV is the same.

Cask, The London Inn (’Spoons), Torquay. Red-amber, hoppy bitter draped with lace. Musty and aromatic with a lick of copper. Smells of citrussy hop loveliness. Clean, fruity, hop-accented Bitter.
