Pours pale yellow with a creamy head. Taste is toasted/burnt malts, bitterness and some hops with a little sweetness. Unusual as all the malts give it a taste like a darker beer. Decent enough.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 22/04/09. Pale gold with a slight white head. Smoky malt aroma with some sweetness and hay. Flavour began with a touch of sugar, before a big smoked malt kick and moderately bitter finish. Ok as a one-off.
