Commercial Description: Cask; Occasional. Ninth of the 2008 Salford Breweries Series - Whitbread bought the Cook Street Brewery from Threlfall’s in 1967. They brewed Chester’s bitter and mild until 1988 when brewing ceased completely. Subsequently available in cask and bottle conditioned in August 2009.
