Commercial Description:
Beach Bum is an all-malt American blonde ale, which draws its deep golden color from the finest pale and caramel roasted barley malts. This beer is dry hopped with the choicest imported Alsace and Hallertau hops as well as Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest, which lend to its pleasant hop aroma and its slightly spicy and fruity taste.

This ale poured a light yellow colour with a rocky lacking white head. To the nose is like sticking your nose into a skunks ass. Scents of rotten eggs , skunk and a little hopp. First taste is very thin and over-carbonated with next to no flavour except hair spray. This could be the worst beer I have ever had. Obviously gone bad.

Bottle poured into pint glass. Okay I suppose for an A-B creation. Pale golden colour with a medium white head. Orange and citrus aroma. Easy to drink with a slight hop finish.

This was an OK beer considering where it came from. Nice yellow straw color, head retention wasn’t great, nice light fruity flavor that was somewhat pleasing, carbonated nicely. Might try it again.

An interesting twist for an AB seasonal, but it doesn’t really do much for me. Too watered down, and not enough spice to live up to its description.

I dont think i would have really enjoyed this even if my taste was off balance thanks to two IPAs prior but anyway. sweet crisp and simple ( but not as boring as normal AB brews) at least i could detect some spice to give a little character. body was what i expected, thin. was nice that the 5.4 alcohol didnt leave my mouth dry, the finish carried some of the spice through out the beer. drinkable, since i picked up this six pack on over stock from Seminole discount liquor for 3.99!

(bottle - 12 oz) Golden pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is very light and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness that over powers the hops. Smooth malty flavor with a light hop bitterness at the end. Middle is smooth and sweet. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and lasts for a while. Not a bad brew at all.

Bottle. Light honey/straw body with a very loose ½ inch head. Nose-low key hops, almost PN, smelling but not quite, mildly soapy and lotion. Taste-lemon lime soda, light watermelon, seltzer, soft almost greasy mouthfeel, light perfumey floral notes that work well, lemon grass, light lychee, light white grape skins, very light apple. All in all nothing strikes me as gross or nasty, surprisingly mild and well done. Nothing blows me away about this beer, but nothing offends. I would drink this again.

Happened upon this one looking desperately for new ones at the local liquor store. Creative label. Pours golden yellow with tall white head, that dissipates quickly. Flavor is surprisingly good for an Anheuser Bush product. Some citrusy hops and malt tones, but pretty watery overall. Crisp finish and easy to drink, and at 5.4% I am impressed by this macrobrew product.
