Commercial Description:
Beach Bum is an all-malt American blonde ale, which draws its deep golden color from the finest pale and caramel roasted barley malts. This beer is dry hopped with the choicest imported Alsace and Hallertau hops as well as Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest, which lend to its pleasant hop aroma and its slightly spicy and fruity taste.

A sesonal bear from Anheuser-Busch has a unique and enjoyable flavor coming from the makers of Bud products. The color is an intense golden color, with little head upon pour. The flavor has a nice ballance and a slight hint of citrus. Finishes with a toung tingling crispness, with very mild bitterness.

As far as an A/B product goes, it’s not too shabby. From a tap it pours with a fair head with a malty/citrus smell. Flavor was sweet. Overall, not too bad, it’s worth a try when walking in the macrobrew world.

I found this beer in Walmart. Im beyond buying beer in Walmart because I have had all they stock. But this beer was so Refreshing. Great for summer. If you like Hefeweizen’s this beer i believe you will enjoy. Love A/b craft beers.

Not necessarily the best A-B product I have tried, but probably the most flavorful. Aroma was faint but grassy. Color was golden yellow. Flavor was pretty well balanced between spicey hoppiness and maltiness. Also a hint of citrus. Pretty good beer, but it will probably go the route of other decent offerings from A-B and be discontinued.

Agree with whiterabbit81 immediately below me. It was the best option at the burger and wings joint where I was, so I don’t regret buying it at all, but I’d never buy it for home. Better than Bud or Bud Light...

Off draught at the Tallahassee "downtown get-down" (ahem). Considering my choices were this, Ultra and bud light, i don’t regret drinking the beach bum. Looked almost pink in my plastic cup. Flavor sweet, refreshing, uninspired. It pretty much tastes like AB attempt at a blonde. Not really that terrible, but i wouldn’t buy it for home consumption.

Pours orange with a moderate head. Aroma is minor with a bit of an orange, sweet quality. Flavor is rather sweet with citrus qualities. Pretty bland and unexciting.
