Commercial Description:
Beach Bum is an all-malt American blonde ale, which draws its deep golden color from the finest pale and caramel roasted barley malts. This beer is dry hopped with the choicest imported Alsace and Hallertau hops as well as Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest, which lend to its pleasant hop aroma and its slightly spicy and fruity taste.

Draft in Denver airport- Medium gold pour with little white quickly fading head. Smell is very light of sweet malts, and it somehow almost even smells watery. Taste is fairly smooth and crisp, with a hop bitter bite up front that lasts, followed eventually by a little sweet finish. Nothing spectacular. More bitter than expected but without any hop flavor to go with it really. Simple bitterish cheap easy drinking beer that I wouldn’t go out of my way for or recommend.

Poured from bottle. Very yellow. Head persists. Not much to detect in aroma. Roast malt flavor, but not much else, maybe weak hops. Flavor gets a bit rancid toward the end. There are many better choices for those hot days.

Pours a pale golden color with a white head. Aroma is pretty light with some hay, a slight hint of floral hops, and sweet malts. Very watery on the flavor here. In fact there really isn’t much flavor to this at all. I might as well drink a Bud. Not good at all. I thought from the aroma it might have just a little more then what it does. I wasn’t expecting much by any means but it really does taste like Bud.

Last reviewer captured it. This is Bud made with some dry hops and ale yeast. But what’s wrong with that? You want a summertime grass cutting beer that won’t make you feel like you’re bloated and you’re tired of coors light. drink this.

Pours a pale golden with a thick white head that soon diminishes, but still coats the surface and provides some lacing. Aroma is the same as Bud, and in many ways so is the taste. As a matter of fact, this is Budweiser brewed with ale yeast and a little extra hops. Not bad; a good thirst quencher, but no prize.

Bottle, pours a clear yellow color, fizzy, hops non existant. matls non existant I thought they called it a summer wheat. A touch of lacing. Pretty damn boring, as with all the seasonal brews by AB water and light flavors dominate. Nothing fatastic what soever.

On June 30th, 2007, Ando delivered a beer that countless Georgia beer drinkers have been waiting for over a year to try! Beach Bum Blonde, Anheuser-Busch’s answer to the summer drinking problem, is finally here! Appearance: Pours a bright, see-through golden body wit a thin, off-white head. Smell: A very subtle, subdued aroma of sweet grains. Taste: Sweetish cereal grains, a tinny twang, and a trace of spiciness in the decidedly watery finish. This beer is doing nothing at all to help the stereotype that blondes are vapid and mindless. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Fizzy carbonation. Drinkability: Let’s thank Ando and give him a big "Surf’s Up!" for bringing this by.

Wow, pretty much the exact same aroma as Bud Heavy. Pours more golden than Bud. Has lots of actively visible carbonation. A one finger thick head made up of soapy bubbles. Here goes... my first drink. I do not have high expectations, I can tell you that. Flavor is: Budwieser. But Ale Budwieser. Thats it. Bitter in that Bud kind of way. I guess there is more mouthfeel than Bud, but not by alot. At least I have ten more ounces of this crap to look forward to. The positive side of this beer is that it has fantastic head retention.
