| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 3, 2007 better than i expected but was it really that much diff. than a bud? not much, but it didn’t leave that taste that a bud would, I actually finished it without much thought. vanek26owns (4), USA does not count | 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Poured incredibly urine yellow. Absolutely no aroma to the "beer" whatsoever. Quickly dissipating carbonated head indicative of macro "wanna-be" micro. Flavor is almost non-existent, if it weren’t for the sulfur and sewer nodes. Goes down like water, yet doesn’t quench or even taste like water, it’s worse. Anheuser-Busch fooled us all with Spring Heat Spiced Wheat. What hope there was for AB turning a decent macro mini-line is now gone. CJfromPhilly (84), Aston, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Pours a golden color, darker than your standard Busch macro beer by a couple of shades. I see VERY little carbonation> I can practicall count the bubbles and i’d only need one hand! The head disappeared almost instantly with almost no lacing or collar. There is a very faint sweetish aroma. Taste is a very weak kinda lemony bitterness. There’s a grassy dryness on the finish, with a thin, watery mouthfeel. I REALLY wanted to like this beer for some reason, but I can’t give it a thumbs-up by any means. I bought a single @ Total Wine & More in Claymont, DE and i’m glad i didn’t shell out the money for a sixer. An EXTREMELY weak attempt by Anheuser-Busch. With their resources, they can do much better than this! Or can they? Reid (1093), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Golden colored beer with a largish pure white head.
Aroma very weak, what there is suggests lagerish hops.
Lightly malty flavour, semi-sweet, a small, very small amount of lemony hop right at the end.
Thin and no after taste.
Overall not a good beer or even a good blonde. But cant say if I was at a neighbours grill-out i would refuse it. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2007 On draft at Just Sports, pours golden with a small white compact head. Aroma of slight hops to the nose, bread, and not much else. The flavor is mostly bready, slight sweet caramel malts are detectable, as well as slight traces of hops in the finish. Thin body, but not a bad attempt for AB. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2007 12oz bottle from Shaw’s in Augusta. Light amber/dark yellow translucent body with a thin film of off-white head. Biscuit malt and European hops share the aroma, though the smell is far from overwhelming. Biscuit malt dominates the flavor with a hint of hops toward the finish. Rather watery on the mouthfeel, which helps the drinkability. Nothing overpowering or overly impressive, but a decent easy-drinking summer beer. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 28, 2007 Bottle: Pale yellow, thin white head, no lacing. Nose of light corn and bland hop, the AB hops always seem to underwhelm, or maybe it’s just the way they use them. The flavor goes way downhill, thin, tinny and soapy. Not good, not very quenching even. I’m glad I’m not a beach bum. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 25, 2007 Pour blond with a white head. The aroma has pale malt, light citrus, light spice and some cream. Light body with crisp carbonation. The flavor starts with lemon / orange citrus and spicy phenols. This is not very beer like. The finish has a spice bite and a bit of a light malt taste. Note a great blond.... or even very beer-ish, but you could do much worse on a hot summer afternoon.
