Commercial Description:
Beach Bum is an all-malt American blonde ale, which draws its deep golden color from the finest pale and caramel roasted barley malts. This beer is dry hopped with the choicest imported Alsace and Hallertau hops as well as Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest, which lend to its pleasant hop aroma and its slightly spicy and fruity taste.

pale gold color, dinky white head, trace of lace. nothing but air in the nose. flavor is mildly skunky malt, but banana evilly lurks in the background, waiting to strike. earthy. medium bodied, odd finish. this one is just odd, and fairly hard to swallow to boot. on tap at the newark airport renaissance hotel. it worsens as it warms. wtf?

Pretty good light beer. Has a slight ’twinge’ to the taste (may be the malt...I’m not sure). Fair amount of lacing and only a little head.

This one surprised me. Very nice, light tasting beer. This is a great addition to the Michelob line of brews. Good in appearance with little head. Great for just sitting around the patio drinking beer.

Not too bad for a hot day at the beach. Goes down easy with a nice malty sweetness. Best when pulled from the bottom of the cooler.

Pours a golden color with small white head. Malty aroma. Flavor of pale malts and some mild bitter hops. Not a bad beer from a big macro brewer. Good for a day at the beach, which is exactly what I bought it for.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Light grainy malt aroma, with a hint of hops. The flavor has grain, pale malts, and a touch of spicy hops. Not awful.

pours a very clear yellow with a small white head, and not much lacing. smell is faint, not really much there. taste is of some grain, like a souped up bud with a touch of wheat, ends funky with a bad aftertaste .

Medium bitter flavor. Pours with a larger head. Light yellow color. Would be a good beer for causal drinking. Not what I expected and I don’t get a lot of fruity flavor. Aroma is somewhat spicy.
