Commercial Description:
Beach Bum is an all-malt American blonde ale, which draws its deep golden color from the finest pale and caramel roasted barley malts. This beer is dry hopped with the choicest imported Alsace and Hallertau hops as well as Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest, which lend to its pleasant hop aroma and its slightly spicy and fruity taste.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a light corn malt and yeast. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a very bland watery malt with a metallic finish. Not much going on with this blond from AB.

Grapefruit aroma, looks like an american lager. Tastes of banana bread, this is actually very good. Dont let the Anheuser name fool you! This is not your average macro.

Pours yellow-gold with a thin white head and very slight lacing. Not much flavor but has a little bit of a bitter finish. Sessionable but not very tasty.

Holy shit, this is AB, I didn’t know. Tap @ Porter’s Pub @ UCSD. Pours gold with a bright tan head. Nose is light and slightly yeasty. Taste is light with a touch of yeast a very minor amount of hoppy bitterness. Overall drinkable with a bit of a bitter back end. Certainly sessionable with a low level of flavor. Not terrible, not great.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a yellow brown body topped by a medium head of whit foam which diminished fully, with slight effervescence visible. Light lacing. Bitter initial bite with a lingering bitter/ dry aftertaste. Aroma is a dirty hay / grain smell. The dryness of the ale is not refreshing at all and will prompt me to get another beer to cleanse the palate. This other beer will most assuredly not be this one: Pass this up.

Slight citrus smell. Not much flavor at all. Very light. Not an impressive brew. Very easy to drink. A great beer for the kiddies.
