The aroma is a light corn malt and yeast. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a very bland watery malt with a metallic finish. Not much going on with this blond from AB. ilherps (234), Carbondale, Illinois, USA

Pours gold with a bright tan head. Nose is light and slightly yeasty. Taste is light with a touch of yeast a very minor amount of hoppy bitterness. Overall drinkable with a bit of a bitter back end. Certainly sessionable with a low level of flavor. Not terrible, not great. popephred (193), Plainfield, Illinois, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a yellow brown body topped by a medium head of whit foam which diminished fully, with slight effervescence visible. Light lacing. Bitter initial bite with a lingering bitter/ dry aftertaste. Aroma is a dirty hay / grain smell. The dryness of the ale is not refreshing at all and will prompt me to get another beer to cleanse the palate. This other beer will most assuredly not be this one: Pass this up. chrissy (122), Connecticut, USA
