Watery and just a little hoppy. Some strange almost malt like aftertaste. Okay "grass cutting" beer on a hot day. Not really good for much ese. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Light golden yellow beer, 2 inch white head on pour, but holds at 3/8" for a while. Clear, pronounced, "see through", color. Active bubbling. It’s called an ale but looks like a lager. Why would you use ale yeast and then filterit out of a blonde? Oh yeah, that’s right, because your American customers are used to be able to see throught their beer. The aroma is a little old and malty and nutty. The taste is initially like cardboard, but has strong maple, nut, and yeast tones. The taste is also a little metallic on some sips. At the very least, it’s inconsistent. Palate is full, and slightly carbonated. Finish is a tid bit harsh. That dough yeast flavor, characteristic of blonde’s is present. The most interesting thing about this beer is that on the front label is says "ALL MALT", but on the neck label it says "Brewed and dry hopped with the Choisest Blend of Imported and Domestic Hops". What do that take us for? Bradrcr (781), Renton, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2008 7/1/08 From the bottle. Aroma is of grainy pils malt low on corn and sweetnaess, balanced by a semi-metallic noble hop note. Appearance is slightly hazy yellow with a moderate maintained white head. Flavor is too light and not sweet enough for a blonde, and definitely seems in between AB’s classic lagers and what you usually think of as a blonde. Mouthfeel is again too light bodied, with a strong carb texture. Overall, this was still refreshing and not a bad beer, but the grain bill needs to be upped. mweber962000 (70), Illinois, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 27, 2008 This clear yellow beer poured with a fluffy white head and a malty aroma. It tastes just as you would expect. It’s the ale version of Bud. It has a bit more malt and a lot more carbonation, but not much more flavor. bhensonb (4365), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 21, 2008 Bottle. Brassy gold color with a decent white head. Sort of a grassy hop aroma over mild pale malt. Thin to medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is mild malt and mild noble hop. Not much spice. Finish is pretty bland. Obviously A-B skimped on ingredients, but it’s drinkable. Finishes more like a wheat beer than a malt beer. It’s ok. soup (5), , Ohio, USA does not count | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jun 21, 2008 Yuck, this isn’t beer. I guess I should have known when I saw Anheuser-Busch made this. Oh, It has taste(maybe the miller lite compain is working), but the taste is just plain bad. Okay, not bad..really bad. And that’s just for starters. The after taste is even worst. It was painful getting through one. I wouldn’t give the other 5 to my worst enemy.
