On tap. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Dry apricot aroma. Light-bodied, dry apricot accents, and a whiff of phenols. The finish is dry with a discreet underlying tartness. 120709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small, dense creamy and white head. Fresh apricot fruity aroma. Fresh apricot fruity flavoured, light citric note and mild sweetness to a light wheaty malt base. Citric and light wheaty finish.

Tasted at the brewpub on 7/9/2009. This fruit beer pours a slightly hazy light gold color. Aroma is sweet, apricots, some malts. A medium to light bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a lot of semi-sweet apricot flavors. Nice carbonation. The apricot flavors get a little tart at the finish, which is a little unsettling. It is a little different and interesting, but unsettling. Mouthfeel is Full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart. A very odd fruit beer, that’s for sure.

I had this on draft at the Beach Chalet brewpub. This was a tart apricot flavored beer, which didn’t work for me.

On tap, brewpub. Very dark yellow, medium white head. Faint apricot aroma. Light to medium mouthfeel. Light apricot taste. A little unbalanced fruit and malt taste. Ok.
