Aroma of sweet caramel malt and mild bourbon oak with a touch of Belgian yeast. Starts with a fairly-full caramel malty sweetness drying some toward a doughy buttery oaky finish. Pretty well balanced and fairly complex, but I still don’t like the combination of Belgian yeast and bourbon oak that gives the buttery character. IrishBoy (2710), Bakersfield, California, USA

This Belgian ale poured a medium brown amber color. Small to no head. Aroma is mildly fruity with a touch of bourbon and wood. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet, Bourbon and wood noticeable, but not understated or overpowering. There is a very wine like feel to this one, it has a vinous like flavor, think red wine. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
