| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Tasted at the brewpub on 7/9/2009. This porter pours a medium to dark amber gold color from the tap. Small sized beige head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee and a touch nutty. A medium bodied porter. The malts are roasted, chocolate and coffee. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. There is a touch of a nutty flavors is this one as well. It just so light in color, not that that is a bad thing, you just expect a porter to be much darker in color. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
