| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 12, 2007 Draft: somewhat hazy amber with good lacing and retention. Aroma is citrusy and spicy hops, a hint of grapefruit and some caramel backing. Flavor is focused heavily on bitterness despite not being overly bitter (haha). Not a lot of hop flavor, medium bodied. Ended one dimensional. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 12, 2007 (On tap) Hazy, amber golden - looks pretty much like a wheat - with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Vague aroma of citrus. Medium body, lightly fruity accents with a whiff of citrus from the aroma hops also leaving a solid bitterness. 270307 auto (161), California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 12, 2007 Draught, at Harding Park Golf Club, San Francisco, . Foggy ambre body with speckled beige head. Good forward hop aroma, with plenty of strength. It has a very appealing full bitter length palate. Generous and of a very high quality for a brew pub. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to check out the brew pub on the beach but it did come highly recommended. A definite must next time I’m in San Francisco. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2006 tap. pretty one dimensional. Aromas of pine and fruit, flavors mainly dominated by bitter hops and not much else. Really lacking any kind of complexity and finesse, just brute force hops, not one of their better beers. beerguy101 (3920), Newark, California, USA

This IPA pours a light orange gold color. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and floral. Medium bitterness for an IPA. Crisp and clean, but finishes with a nice floral sweetness. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
