Rerate 9/5: A lot has changed since the last batch that I sampled. Big bold fruity citrus hop aroma and flavors. Nice full body to round out the potent bitterness. Excellent! Previous: Not too impressed by this one. Aroma was nice, lots of pine. Flavor is initially sweet with a lingering bitterness. But it leaves this bad flavor in the aftertaste. It’s almost like they left the dryhops in for a bit too long, to the point of rotting. Tastes like compost. 2.5

On tap, brewpub. Cloudy dark yellow / light orange. Thick white head. Piny hop aroma - nice. Nice light malt taste with strong pine hops - yay, finally a solid beer! Balanced. Light and hoppy, this was miles ahead of the offerings so far.

Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy, golden color with white head that laced the glass. Smells and tastes of grapefruity hops with a light malty backbone. Pretty decent.

great golden color. However seems to be lacking in the hop & could really use a bit more of a head. Very similar to the red hook ballard bitter.

I had this on draft at the Beach Chalet brewpub. This is a clear dark gold pour with nice citric hop flavors.

Tap. Light golden color. A nice fresh hop aroma and flavor that blends well with the malts.

Tap at the brewpub. The body was hazy dark gold with a bright white head. The aroma was grapefruit with some almonds and bread. The taste was bitter grapefruit and almonds. A fairly bitter finish. Good, but nothing special.
