Mar 27, 2008 Gorgeous brassy red appearance with a fine head. Mildly toasty malt aroma. Very toasty flavor, not sure if I like it. Unusual toasty profile with slight peatiness. Ok in small quantities.

Feb 18, 2008 Sampled at the brewhouse. A well crafted ale with smooth hops and a strong malty base. Taste is slightly toasty but leads to a good dinner beer.
