yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 28, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and deep amber, golden, and with a small tan head. Toffee butterish and slight roasted caramel/breadish malt aroma. Sweet malty flavoured, light roasted note and a hint of liqourice. Butter notes disappear in the flavours. Ends mild bitter and with a reappearing butterish note from back of the nose. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Jul 19, 2009

beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Jul 10, 2009 Tasted at the brewpub on 7/9/2009. This amber pours a medium amber red color. The aroma is caramel and fruity and sweet. A medium bodied amber. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. A slightly sweeter than average amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. JohnC (2225), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jul 10, 2009 I had this on draft at the Beach Chalet brewpub.
Nice dark red color, good malt & carmel flavor. PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA Apr 14, 2009 Tap at the brewpub: Deep copper amber pour with a fading tan head. Simple aroma of deep caramel and dark grains. Rounded carbonation with a malt forward flavor- toasted and lightly caramelized malts with an almost chocolaty note. A bit over attenuated and fizzy. Not much hop actions at all. Grainy and one dimensional. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Mar 13, 2009 Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty nutty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty nutty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 2, 2009 The body was pretty mahogany with a yellowish khaki head. The aroma was malty with walnuts and caramel candy. The taste was sweet with hazelnuts. A stewed tea finish hurts the overall package. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Apr 13, 2008 Reddish amber colored. Aroma is caramel, some citrus, toast, lightly fruity. Medium to light body, moderate bitterness. Ok.
