| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2008 Courtesy of Degarth. Pours clear gold with thin white head. The aroma has a nice crystal malt influence to go with a faint noble hop sense. The flavor has a mild carbonation enhanced roastiness, some faint tart malt astringency and wafer thin notes of something resembling hops. The experience ends with mild malts and a lingering vague hop bitterness. glennmastrange (868), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Bottle. Aromas of straw, corn and boiled vegetables, with a note of cardboard. Head is fizzy white with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is a dark, slightly hazy gold. Flavor is lightly acidic start to finish with some bitterness in the finish as well. Palate is light, watery then dry, and has a lively to fizzy carbonation. Not a bad beach beer, but nothing really outstanding. Made me burp. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2008 At FBC. A clean golden pour with frothy white head. Aroma of corn and wet paper with the lightest hint of hops. Semi sweet that changes to a bit of a bitter on the finish. Foamy and a tad thin. Another very drinkable beer not outstanding but very solid. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Bread-malty aroma with a trace of west coast hopping. Fair label, light, nearly-clear gold. Thin head lasts a while. Tart, clumsy, unpleasantly bitter and somewhat aley. Finishes out with an unpleasant bitterness. Medium body. This is like a pils gone bad. Glad I didn’t get a sixpack. I’ll put it to you this way, I just took this back-to-back with Singha Light - a non-descript light lager - and this one lost. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Medium golden pour, soft white head with decent lacing. Dishwater aroma, hints of aquarium water. Flavor has a definite corn twinge to it with some biscuity malty sweetness. Finsihses with a hint of black pepper. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side and starts to clench the throat as it warms up. Had worse. jhliesen (406), West Melbourne, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2006 Bottle/draft-Wow, what a great surprise! I wasn’t expecting much from the brewer, an average microbrewer. A local butcher/deli/gourmet food store had this on tap for free, so I thought it was a great time to knock off a rating, but it tasted great, so I took a bottle home. The pour had an almost creamy head and hazy golden color. The aroma was fruity, more along the apple scale than citrus. The beer had a silky, honey feel with a good malty taste. I will have to get a six pack of this! jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
