| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 18, 2009 Six-pack from Publix in Bonita Springs, FL. Poured a small white head with short retention, transparent, visible carbonation, one ring of lacing, and a yellow hue. The aroma was corn, grassy and grainy. Ditto for the flavor with a bit of bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel and light-medium body. An easy to drink beer and pretty much right on for the style. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 23, 2006 Tallahassee, Fl. - World Market - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, soft white head with decent lacing. Dishwater aroma, hints of aquarium water. Flavor has a definite corn twinge to it with some biscuity malty sweetness. Finsihses with a hint of black pepper. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side and starts to clench the throat as it warms up. Had worse. daknole (3000), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods. Yellow color, grainy aroma and grainy taste. Pretty watery. Not overly bitter and had a better flavor than a macro brewer....but it isnt a "premium" lager like it says it is. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2008 Courtesy of Degarth. Pours clear gold with thin white head. The aroma has a nice crystal malt influence to go with a faint noble hop sense. The flavor has a mild carbonation enhanced roastiness, some faint tart malt astringency and wafer thin notes of something resembling hops. The experience ends with mild malts and a lingering vague hop bitterness. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 8, 2009 The aroma is malty in a macro lager way with an adjunct like quality that makes it a little corn like and a little acidic. There is a little bit of grassiness. The appearance is pale gold with a slight hazing and a small head. The flavor is not too bad it’s incredibly simple with just a corn malt taste and a touch of bitterness. The palate is right for the style. Pretty much a standard lager. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Bread-malty aroma with a trace of west coast hopping. Fair label, light, nearly-clear gold. Thin head lasts a while. Tart, clumsy, unpleasantly bitter and somewhat aley. Finishes out with an unpleasant bitterness. Medium body. This is like a pils gone bad. Glad I didn’t get a sixpack. I’ll put it to you this way, I just took this back-to-back with Singha Light - a non-descript light lager - and this one lost. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
