Pours a beautiful dark cola colour, with minimal foam and low carbonation. Aroma is deep malt with chocolate and coffee. Tastes smooth and feels slightly syrupy due to minimal carbonation. Lots of coffee, bitter chocolate and some grassy hop character. At a dollar a bottle, it can’t be beat. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2009 Pours deep dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma is roasty to mildly burnt with a light pulse of molasses and earthiness. The taste is modestly roasty to burnt – like and moves into sweetness from malts and a touch of molasses. It finishes with tepidly growing roasty to burnt malts. Pretty nice stuff for Florida. To quote one person from the tasting, “this doesn’t suck.” maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
