Bottle, courtesy Ibrew2or3. Clear brownish red pour, minimum head and lacing. Some roast in the nose, mostly flowery hops, some smooth cocoa. Grainy flavors, some roast, chocolate and caramel and some wheat, too. Very drinkable, nice soft creamy body.

Bottle thanks to ibrew2or3, thanks Dave. Pours a deep chestnut color with a large light brown head. The aroma is very nice; rich toasted almonds, toasted malts, chocolates, roasted coffee as well. The flavor is very good; rich lightly roasted malts, chocolates, almonds, cherries, lots of vanilla and caramel. Very enjoyable. A style I love.

Bottle courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Pours a generally clear dark brown with thin tan head. Aroma is sweet, malty, a little boozy with notes of vanilla and chocolate. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of chocolate, roast, some caramel and honey notes as well. Generally medium body with a slightly roasty malt finish.

12 oz. bought locally. Pours a beautiful dark cola colour, with minimal foam and low carbonation. Aroma is deep malt with chocolate and coffee. Tastes smooth and feels slightly syrupy due to minimal carbonation. Lots of coffee, bitter chocolate and some grassy hop character. At a dollar a bottle, it can’t be beat.

Pours deep dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma is roasty to mildly burnt with a light pulse of molasses and earthiness. The taste is modestly roasty to burnt – like and moves into sweetness from malts and a touch of molasses. It finishes with tepidly growing roasty to burnt malts. Pretty nice stuff for Florida. To quote one person from the tasting, “this doesn’t suck.”

Clear dark brown color with a thin frothy brown head. Caramel and toffee dominate the aroma with some hints of raisins. Mild chocolate flavor. Thanks to Degarth for sending this to Richmond.

Bottle courtesy of Degarth: Clear dark brown pour has a thin tan head. Rich dark bittersweet chocolatey mocha aroma. Mildly sweet, yet thin, dark chocolatey body finishes with a hint of smoke and lingering bittersweet dark chocolate. A decent porter.

Poured a clear brown with a ruby tinit and thin beige head. Sweet aroma with plenty of dark chocolate, some roasted malt and prunes. Touch of coffee underneath but the chocolate is very dominant. Flavor has a good bit of chocolate as well. Fruity with a dry finish. Light to medium body.
