500ml bottle from Middle Farm, 10th Oct 2008. Cloudy orange amber with a fresh citrus/grapefruit aroma. The use of Challenger for bittering all their beers is giving Beachy Head a distinctive ’house style’ and the First Gold add some lovely notes on the nose here. Light, refreshing palate with a subtle, not urgent, flavour. Perhaps a bit bland but a good crack at the style.
