Bear Brew Hefeweizen

Draught sample at the brewpub, mid-May 2007. Utterly clear amber -- a very bad sign -- with no head whatsoever....very minimal aroma, maybe a little bit of 7UP, I don’t know....like the brown ale, sewery and vegetal and downright nasty flavor profice, no real estery hefe character whatsoever. Just awful.

Good crisp beer for the summer months. Cloudy light appearance. Reminded me a lot of belgian white beers. Some hop taste, but dominated by lemony refreshing tastes. Another good beer i’d recommend from the bear brew.
