I really like stouts, but this one doesn’t cut it for me. No head, not chewy, and sort of translucent. There are fruity hints in it too, which boggled me as to why they’re there. This doesn’t quite pull off the stout thing. This is one that i’ll probably not have again.

Not abad stout. Good color! A more mild taste than I like for a stout. Above average but not much.

I like this beer. Yes, it isn’t as stouty as it should be, but it is good nonetheless. I think that it has a fairly fruity flavor. I think it should be called midnight draft though, because it tastes like a fruitier version of guinness.. it has that same smooth flavor. it is definitely not a stout though.

A stout with a lasting palate and lasting impressions. This stout lacks chewiness, one component I like in stouts, but nevertheless, a great beer to try if you are ever in Orono, Maine.
