Feb 27, 2009 Draft. Pours a brown body with a tan head. Lots of alcohol latent fruits, raisins, apple, citric. Bourbon warming and malty masking most of the original hop character on this brew.

Mar 3, 2008 Nearly a barley wine in richness and alcohol content. Yummy malt, cloves and molasses with the breath of aged bourbon. Wonderful to drink, but also great to cook with. I made booster cupcakes with booster bananas foster. Also, a marinade/sauce for salmon.

Dec 6, 2007 GABF. Another good Rocket beer at the fest. Sweet and fruity hops on the flavor and the aromas. More malty on the finish. Some alcohol. Very good.

Nov 26, 2007 Lots of alcohol with some mild phenols present. Ripe fruit and brown sugar up front leading to mild astringency and alcoholic heat. Muddled hot finish.

Oct 30, 2007 GABF 2007: Poured a hazy brown color with an off-white head. The aroma was of raisins, apples, fruity, brown sugar. some age on the malt. Nice vanilla and bourbon. just enough bourbon in the flavor. Bourbon from the front and back. Fruity malt middle. Full bodied.

Oct 15, 2007 Smooth and full bodied. Mostly caramel but the hops come through nicely. Smooth bitter finish. Well balanced.
