Draft. Pours a brown body with a tan head. Lots of alcohol latent fruits, raisins, apple, citric. Bourbon warming and malty masking most of the original hop character on this brew.

Nearly a barley wine in richness and alcohol content. Yummy malt, cloves and molasses with the breath of aged bourbon. Wonderful to drink, but also great to cook with. I made booster cupcakes with booster bananas foster. Also, a marinade/sauce for salmon.

GABF. Another good Rocket beer at the fest. Sweet and fruity hops on the flavor and the aromas. More malty on the finish. Some alcohol. Very good.

Lots of alcohol with some mild phenols present. Ripe fruit and brown sugar up front leading to mild astringency and alcoholic heat. Muddled hot finish.

Smooth and full bodied. Mostly caramel but the hops come through nicely. Smooth bitter finish. Well balanced.

GABF 2007. Smooth brew. Alcohol is well hidden. Oak and bourbon presence very evident. Excellent.
