My Favorite at GABF 2007. Had this one in the middle of my GABF evening and it POPPED my taste buds into a frenzy. Great balance between the hops and malts. Nice amber malts come through with a nice added bitterness from the rye. Not sure what the ABV is but since Booster is part of the name assume it a big one...I could not tell.

On Tap at Toro 20th Anniversary party. I have to say that this was one of the highlights of the "special" beers on tap - but I’m a big fan of barrel aged beers. Pours dark with little head. Aroma is woody with quite a bit of bourbon (it’s aged in Wild Turkey barrels). Very smooth beer with woody stout flavors. Aftertaste lingers a bit. Good stuff.

This beer smells like whiskey. Plain and simple. Pours black with no head. Looks like motor oil in a sense. Many flavors come out in this one. I got black licorice, whiskey, raisin, dried fruit, roasty malt, and tons of alcohol. Extremely unique. Obviously is meant to be sipped because this is thick. Lingering alcohol and smoky sweetness is present.

I had this on tap at stone bistro. it pourded an opaque very dark brown. Lots of alcohol in the nose and flavor. Good up front malt with a lot of hops on the back end.

On tap @ Stone - Pours a hazy brown color with a faint off white head. No lacing. Aroma is oak/bourbon and hops. Flavor is oak/bourbon, hops, and toasted malt. A smooth, medium to full bodied beer. The alcohol is noticeable but not over bearing. Took some time to drink it. Very nice beer.

On tap at Stone. Reddish brown with a slight white ehad. Aroma of caramel and alcohol. Thick sweet palate. A big blast of alcohol taste transitioning to a caramel and fruit taste with a smooth finish.
