Draft at O’Brien’s. This was like drinking a light Racer 5. We called it Racer 2 1/2. Easy on the hop aromas. More on the flavor, but not nearly what I had expected from BR.

Draught at brewpub. Perfumy, sweet hop aroma with citrus and fruit notes. Really nice! Clear pale gold body. Pillowy white head with sheet lace. Really nice flavor. Tastes kind of like it smells. Grapefruit is the pervasive flavor element, although without the bite. Very nice.

Herbal mildly isovaleric nose. Lots of citrus and grass on the palate with little malt backing. Acidic and soft finish.

On draft at O’Briens Wet Hop Festival. Clear goldent amber color with a moderate sized, foamy beige head and spots of lace. Hop dominant aroma, with some toasty malt notes in the background, citrus and evergreen hops with orange peel and douglas fir scents. Interesting flavor, light soapy/toasty malts, tangerine juice, bit of grapefruit peel with a mildly astringent finish. Medium body and gentle carbonation.

Tasted at the Wet Hop Event at the Hayward Bistro. It pours a deep gold with thin white head. The aroma has big citrus notes with orange flavored hard candy and grapefruit hop notes. I also get some mild malt sweetness. Wow, big hop flavor with grapefruit hop bitterness and grapefruit hop green wetness, un ripe orange wedges and a trickle of malt sweetness. It seems a bit thin.
