Mar 26, 2009 Tap at the Blind Tiger. True, it is Wit-like. Reminds me of my early drinking experiences, Sam Adams and Saranac and such, maybe a Hoegaarden here and there. Just kind of simple, not very "craft" feeling at all. Light body. Some mint and marshmallow notes in the aroma.

Mar 26, 2009 On tap at the Blind Tiger, NYC. Hazy golden colour. Thin white lace. Aroma of honey. Flavour was of wheat, hops and a hint of coriander and herb.

Mar 20, 2009 Draft. Pours an orange golden body with a white head. Wheat citrus lemon lightly floral with hints of honey and lemon grass. Sweet wheat and fruity esters. Light and refreshing. good brew.

Jan 31, 2009 Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a spicy wheat malty clove and coriander aroma. Wheat malty spicy coriander and citrus flavor. Has a sweetish wheat malty spicy finish with some hints of citrus and coriander in the aftertaste.

Sep 22, 2008 The menu had this listed as just Wit Beer. I assume this is the correct beer to rate... Thanks to my wife, I got to try this one on our trip to BR. Not the classic wheat, it was smooth and subtly spiced without the over the top sweetness or cloying yeast presence. Unfiltered and served in a tall pilsner glass with a lemon wedge. Some citrus, but not much.

~Corriander, bananna yeast scent along with some citrus.
~taste of spice/clove, corriander and yeast. Some hops towards the end.
~Light feel, quick finish
~A good refreshing light beer.

Jun 11, 2008 Poured from at Bear Republic a light blonde with large white head. Aromas of wheat, malt, citrus, clove. Flavor is big banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat and citusy spice. This one has a good deal of sweetness at the get go, but mellows out toward the end with a big malt presence throughout. labeled as just Wit 4.8%. I really liked this one on a hot 90 degree day with my barbeque sandwich.
