Commercial Description:
This traditional white beer is brewed using raw and malted wheat and a Belgian yeast strain. The suspended proteins in the beer cause a hazy or cloudy look to the beer. This thirst quencher is a summer favorite. Cheers!

Draft at City Beers. Pours a nice light straw with plenty of visible carb and a tall, bubbly white head. Massively wheat-sour aroma; smells tasty but in a nearly-funky way. Fizzy, slightly watery attack; say the same for the mid-palate. Nice mild grass and lemon notes throughout the quaff. Very refreshing. I’d have to say I’d drink this all the time if it were fresh and on tap.

Poured from at Bear Republic a light blonde with large white head. Aromas of wheat, malt, citrus, clove. Flavor is big banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat and citusy spice. This one has a good deal of sweetness at the get go, but mellows out toward the end with a big malt presence throughout. labeled as just Wit 4.8%. I really liked this one on a hot 90 degree day with my barbeque sandwich.

Pint pour @ Hop Devil Grill. The beer pours a clean dark yellow with a strong sticky head. Aroma is very nice for the style, starts with a thick musky coriander and spikes of lemon. Some sweet candy aroma as well. Its easy drinking without being watery; coriander and a mineral mouthfeel in the finish make it very enjoyable.

Draught at brewpub. Faint wheat in aroma. Crystal clear light gold body with some carbonation, a white head and excellent lace. Normally a Wit is hazy, but this one is clear, hence the "Crystal" in the name. Creamy aspect with not much bite. Not really true to style, but has a nice banana finish. Doughy. Pretty good.

Tap at the Blind Tiger. True, it is Wit-like. Reminds me of my early drinking experiences, Sam Adams and Saranac and such, maybe a Hoegaarden here and there. Just kind of simple, not very "craft" feeling at all. Light body. Some mint and marshmallow notes in the aroma.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy yellow color with a white head. Nice, typical wit aroma of yeasty bread dough accented by subdued orange and coriander. Flavor was similar with some spiciness on the tongue. Decent beer.
