Wow, this one has to have one of the largest standard deviations I have ever seen. The pour was medium gold with minimal head. Nose was pale malt, honey, mild hops and citrus. Tasted pale malty, bready, with hopcitrus and a medium sweetness. Not horrible, just not much going on with this one, and the hops were too subdued.

I’ll admit that pickings were slim as they looked to be making space for their gabf roll out next week, but this was a nice pils. Gold with a small head. Bready malt and grainy aroma with just a touch of floral hops. Clean and dry flavor with moderate pale malt, a touch of spicy hops, and medium bitterness in the finish. Light and crisp. Satisfying. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Tap at Rattle N Hum. Hazy golden pour. The nose is quite hoppy with a lot of fresh Saaz hops initially over a lightly diacetyl-laden malt base… uh-oh… that’s not good. Very musty and stinky and as it warms up it turns into a butter bomb. Meh, no thanks. CUJO (346), Brooklyn, New York, USA

Looks like Pinot, no bubbles, a very pale yellow. Smells like drain pour/ maybe wine. Taste is thin, some grains but otherwise very flat. dkachur (2361), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
