Commercial Description:
Red Bear, our red lager is crisp, yet rich with caramel notes balanced by a wonderful Noble hop aroma.

Light copper brown with a fizzy off white head. Malty aroma and taste with notes of molasses sweetness. Decent.

Draught. Poured red with thick white head. Much lacing. Malty and biscuity aroma with a hop edge. Malty flavour, tasted like a good helles despite the colour. Finish a bit thin, some hop in there. Parts didn’t quite marry/

Tap at brewpub. Orangey amber pour with a small white head. Aroma strongly full of malt, slightly crackerish. Flavor is full of sweet sugar and a bit of maltiness. Not much going on here that I’d recommend to anyone.

On tap at Seraveza. Amber body with a small white head. Grainy sweetness throughout. I don’t remember the last time I had Modelo, so it is a bit hard to compare, but sure, tastes kinda like that. Sides sweeter, but I didn’t really enjoy much of this.

On tap at the Blind TIger, NYC. Ruby red colour. Good strong chocolate, toffee and caramel aroma. The flavour is much the same. Smooth and easy to drink. Strangely enjoyed it.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Amber-orange beer. Aroma is a bit sweet and viennaish. There is sort of a sticky sweetness and a bit of candyish sweetness. A hint of caramel and a bit of toastiness. Not bad per se, but it is kind of strange.

Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom... Poured amber/orange with an off-white head, nice lacing. Malty, cracker-like aroma. Foamy palate with citrus fruit flavors. Candy-like and a subtle, vegetable earthiness from the hops. Finished grainy and malty.

Draft at BT. Pours a red amber body with a white head. Grainy, husk, dry earth and a hint of honey. Caramel and grain to finish.
