| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 16, 2009 Draught at The Bear. Almost opaque orange with a medium head. Mild pale malt and fruitiness in the aroma. The flavor is light and dry on the malt with mild hops that are hardly noticeable. Light bodied with medium carbonation. More like a boring golden ale, but not really bad, just not a good kolsch. RollinHard (761), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Gold orange pour. Aroma of caramel, grain and bread. Tastes pretty clean with caramel, hay, and an overall tanginess. Finishes dry with a bread aftertaste. Light and crisp. I couldn’t help but think this is more of a kolsch than an abbey dubbel, haha. iowaherkeye (1860), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2009 On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy orange with a small island of an off-white head. Floral (flower petal-y) sterling hops up front with their earthy backnote. Also there is some biscuit and sweet malts. Flavor is much the same with a hint of corn, though doesn’t seem to be in a crappy adjunct way. Finishes semi-dry with bitterness around a 2. Moderate prickly carbonation with a light to medium body. Pretty drinkable, and not too shabby. badlizard (2356), Berkeley, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Shit I hate adding beers when I’m buzzed. That should say kolsch. Clear golden with a fizzy white head sweet malty aroma with a homey comb taste. Not bad.
