argo0 (6284), Washington DC, USA Feb 7, 2002 Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: Good flavor. Not as hoppy as American IPA, but hops are definitely in there. Well rounded, smooth bb (2236), Martinez, California, USA Feb 13, 2006 Draft. This is their original pre-racer 5 IPA. Reddish copper color with a nice off-white head. Lower hop aroma. Nice hop flavor - grapefruit and summer fruits - with some caramel backing. Lower bitterness and aroma than Racer 5. IrishBoy (2211), Bakersfield, California, USA Feb 28, 2006 On tap at the pub.
