Draft at brewpub. Medium gold. Oddly hoppy aroma, almost like straight hop pellets. Tast is also one of pure hops, with an almost greenish quality. But it isn't bitter, thanks to the sugar addition. Unique beer. When this gets enough samples, it will undoubtedly be the number 1 malt liquor on the site.

Gold pour with small, thin head. Sweet maltiness aroma along with nice floral hops. Alsohol bite and chewy hops in the finish.

Aww yea, i go to a beer fest and i get graced with of all things, a tremendous malt liqour. Has the sweetness of malt, but no corn. Doesnt taste like fuel, yet has some punch to it. Where's my paper bag?

Sampled @ Strong Ale Fest San Diego

The pour an unclouded golden amber color with a medium sized head that is spumous in texture and the color a bright white and the resultant lace a velum like curtain to conceal the glass. Nose has strong malt sweetness, light hop floral tone, crisp, clean and fresh to the senses with the start rich in malt, sweet and the top moderate in feel. Finish has a prickly acidity and the hops purposeful in their bite, very dry and lingering aftertaste, quite a good beer, and bear Republic a long time favorite brewery.

Medium gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied malt liquor. Malts are slightly sweet, with a noticeable touch of corn sugar. Hops (Yes HOPS!) are grapefruity and slightly juicy. Nicely balanced. No alcohol bite. Very smooth taste. A nice malt liquor. Way to go Bear Republic! Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
