with a note of alcohol.
Flavor is
moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.

lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky.
Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation.

Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied malt liquor. Malts are slightly sweet, with a noticeable touch of corn sugar. Hops (Yes HOPS!) are grapefruity and slightly juicy. Nicely balanced. No alcohol bite. Very smooth taste. A nice malt liquor. Way to go Bear Republic! Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Eyedrinkale (3111), Beer Town, New York, USA Jan 6, 2004 Gold pour with small, thin head. Sweet maltiness aroma along with nice floral hops. Alsohol bite and chewy hops in the finish.
