Commercial Description:
"XP" is the abbreviation for Exceptional Pale Ale. This is our interpretation of a classic pale ale. Our "XP" (exceptional pale) has a golden color, and is very light bodied with a noticeable hop aroma and bittering element that just teases the hopheads but satisfies the newest of microbrewed ale drinkers. This beer is brewed with American Two Row, English wheat, Belgian, and Dextrin malts. Mix this with just the right amounts of Cascade and Centennial hops and you've got a winner!!

Pours a amber pale with full white head, light hop presence in aroma, good refreshing palate with smooth hoppy background, a good smooth pale that refreshes and provides the body that is appreciated

reddish brown with nice white head. not a huge malt component but some crystal. a nice bitterness with some flavor and aroma hops, which include a huge contribution from the cascade. actually a great APA, most APAs dont have a huge malt character and this is no different, that would be the only improvement i can think of, because the hop component is great

Pours a hazy burnt orange in the glass with a medium slightly off white head. Floaters visible. Smells hoppy with a malt backbone. There is almost a nut like aroma. Tastes...watery? Some hop bitterness and a mild malt presence culminate on a bitter note that leaves one wondering where the flavor was.

Bomber from WLC Liquors. Pours orange copper with thin white head. Aroma is great with good dose of hops, citrus and malt. Flavor is not a big in hop department but has the nice bitter punch with notes of citrus and sweet malt. Nice refreshing brew but wonder if it was fresh or not as it may have been the dustist bottle in the store. Also as with all Bear Republic brews it gets extra points for low price.

Orange pour with nice, fluffy head. Has a great hop nose, mild hop flavor and bitter finish. I wouldn’t call this ale exceptional, but it’s aight.

22oz bottle. Citrus, pine, and earthy aroma along with some biscut and caramel. Copper colored with a one fingered head. Flavor is nutty, biscuts, caramel followed by a floral, spicy, and piney finish. A fair amount of bitterness for the style, but still very much an APA. Very easy to drink, a nice pale ale.

Draft: pours a beautiful dark copper with a frothy white head, hoppy aroma, some hops in the flavor but pretty mild (compared to all the IIPAs I drink). Nice dry finish. Pretty solid.

Clear golden pour with a medium creamy head that lasts. Light hop and citrus aroma. Nicely balanced sweet malt and citrus hop flavor. Nice crisp hop bite on the finish. Highly drinkable and refreshing.
