Jun 21, 2008 tall powerful seafoam bright white head, once it subsided a bit there was a brilliant fresh apricot aroma. one of the cleanest beers I’ve tasted. more apricot that becomes creamy soft yet not weak or thin.

Jun 11, 2008 Sampled from bomber: pours a semi hazey orange colour with a reddish hue. Head was very large, held great retention and delivered beautiful lacing. Aroma was a blend of sweet hoppy notes, slightly floral with caramel and ginger. Taste was firm, astringent and well balanced. Again decent amount of hops. finishes long and semi acidic.

Jun 9, 2008 Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop Downtown in Charlottesville. Light color with big rocky head and phenomenal lacing. Strong citrus hop aroma. Taste is grain, hops and caramel. Almost off-puttingly light, but it works well.

Jun 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours out a nice golden color with a white head on it. Smell is sweet and fruity, with some noticable hops in it. Taste is very drinkable, semi sweet, with some nice hops in it. Not sure why I have never had this one before, but I am glad I finally did. A very underrated brewery in my opinion. This one goes very well on a summer day, enough alcohol to not make you hot, and can be served cold enough that it becomes easy to almost chug.

Jun 1, 2008 bomber. clear gold pour with a fat white head that clings. floral hop aroma. lightly sweet bready malt up front with a hint of lemon and maybe grapefruit. finishes with an abrupt somewhat quick floral bitterness. just a tad thin, but a really drinkable beer. K-7

May 28, 2008 Deep amber color, generous white head with good lacings. Aroma is floral.
Citrus hops and malt profile are perfectly balanced. If you enjoy APAs the way I do buy some now. If you are looking for the most hops possible this ain’t it. Good job Bear Republic.

May 25, 2008 Golden body with a lacing, white head. Soapy hops and mild roast malt aroma. Spicy and citrus notes. Good body.
